Program Aide for After School Child Care (ASCC)

School Days 2:00-5:30 pm, Early Dismissal Days 11:00-5:30 pm

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

The ASCC program aide will assist the lead provider in carrying out his/her responsibilities and works under the guidance of the site coordinator and the Wellfleet Elementary Principal.

The program aide will:

1. Participate in required professional development including, but not limited to, First Aid and CPR.
2. Work collaboratively with the Wellfleet Elementary School day staff for the transition of programs and integration of curriculum from the school day program. 
3. The hours for this position are M-F 2:00-5:30 pm every full school day and 11:00-5:30 pm on early dismissal days September-June.

The Program Aide will be supervised, managed, and evaluated by the Wellfleet Elementary Principal.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of a high school diploma and three months experience working with school-age children is preferred.

SALARY:

$23.71 per hour
