DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:

- Knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning in the upper elementary level;
- Ability to plan and deliver dynamic, challenging instruction that engages and meets the needs of all learners;
- Ability to collaborate well with support staff, special education personnel, and grade level colleagues to provide a cohesive education for all students;
- Effective implementation and knowledge of Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks/State Standards in all content areas;
- Experience with student assessment and data analysis to individualize, differentiate, and scaffold instruction for all learners;
- High-level of proficiency in the use of technology as an instructional tool in the classroom.
