DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

        OF POSITION:

• Engages students in both team sports and individual activities, while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness
• Teaches social interaction skills and physical health as students learn and work together in the Physical Education and classroom setting
• Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of life-long physical activity and awareness of self
• Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities
• Plans engaging whole school programs/initiatives 
• Provides opportunities for parent and community participation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Massachusetts Certification in Elementary Physical Education

Experience Preferred

SALARY:

$315.78 per day
