DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

        OF POSITION:

• Engages students in both team sports and individual activities, while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness.
• Teaches social interaction skills as students learn and work together in the Physical Education setting.
• Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of life-long physical activity and awareness of self.
• Teaches the PE standards from the Massachusetts curriculum framework with regard to national PE standards.
• Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities.
• Follow the Health lessons plan put forth by the educator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Massachusetts Certification in Elementary Physical Education

SALARY:

$315.78 per day
